Itinerary:

DAY 01: GANGTOK - ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO GANGTOK

The representative of Travoke will greet you at the landing destination - Bagdogra Airport (IXB) and will facilitate your further journey to Gangtok. The journey to Gangtok covers a distance of approximately 126 kilometers, a 5 hour drive. On arrival check-in to the hotel. In the evening you could cherish a leisurely walk around M. G. Road (Mall) or through the local shopping center (at your own expense). Overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 02: EXCURSION TO CHANGU LAKE AND BABA MANDIR (FULL DAY)

After the morning breakfast at the hotel, the excursion to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir begins. It is approximately 40 kilometers, a 2-hour drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary. It is situated at an altitude of 12310 feet or 3753 meters. This Oval shaped Lake is almost 50 feet deep and is covered with snow for the most part of the year. It is home to the Brahmini ducks and several migratory birds. The next destination is the sacred Baba Mandir - a very holy site. Nathu La Pass to the Republic of China is nearly 20 kilometers and is an optional tour. Later the guests are transported back to the hotel at Gangtok where they can enjoy their evening. Overnight in Gangtok.

Please note: If due to a landslide or any other reason the Changu Lake is closed, then an alternative sightseeing option will be offered.

DAY 03: GANGTOK TO LACHUNG TRANSFER

Early morning breakfast – Next start for North Sikkim package tour – Leave Gangtok at about 10 A M proceed to Lachung 119 kilometers – 4 ½ hours – 5 ½ hours – Lachung is situated at an altitude of 8600 feet - On the way stop and enjoy a few wonderful locations like Seven Sister Waterfall, Naga Waterfall, Singhik View Point - Lunch break will at Namok - The roads are colored with full bloom of Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers specially during spring – Guest are likely to reach Lachung at late afternoon or early evening - Check into the hotel - Evening free to stroll around the village - Dinner will be served at about 8 PM – Overnight stay at Lachung.

DAY 04: YUMTHANG VALLEY EXCURSION AND TRANSFER TO GANGTOK

LACHUNG - YUMTHANG EXCURSION - GANGTOK: Early Morning drive to Yumthang-valley (known as Valley of Flowers), Yumthang is the summer grazing ground of the Yaks & winter playgrounds of Yetis. (Optional Tour: Zero Point). Later take a transfer to the hotel. After that proceed to Gangtok en route witness the beautification of the wonderful Bheema & Twin Falls (if time permits). On arrival check-in to your hotel

in Gangtok. Overnight in Gangtok.

DAY 05: GANGTOK CITY TOUR (HALF DAY) & TRANSFER TO PELLING

The day will begin with a sumptuous breakfast. Later drive to visit the following attractions of Gangtok:

(i) Tashi View Point, Bakthang Waterfall, Gonjang Monastery and Ganesh Tok.

Or,

(ii) Flower Show, Directorate of Handicrafts and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa and Research Institute of Tibetology.

From here you will be transported to Pelling. Pelling in West Sikkim is situated at a height of 6800 feet or 2073 meters. The distance between Gangtok and Pelling is approximately 113 kilometers, a 5 - 6 hour drive. On arrival check-in to the hotel. Evening at leisure for taking a stroll around the helipad area or catching up on some shopping at the local shopping center.

DAY 06:  PELLING SIGHTSEEING (FULL DAY)

After breakfast at the hotel – Drive for Full Day sightseeing. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Places of visit are Rimbi Water Falls, Rimbi Orange Garden, Khechopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Khechopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga Water Falls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins. The scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished and also visit Skywalk – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center by walk - Overnight in Pelling.

DAY 07: TRANSFER TO DARJEELING

Post breakfast at the hotel, take a transfer to Darjeeling (8000 Ft / 2440 Mts, 73 Km / 04 Hrs). Overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 08: DARJEELING LOCAL SIGHTSEEING (FULL DAY)

Darjeeling Local Sightseeing (Full Day) – Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast rest for half an hour After that next round of sightseeing - Half Day city tour includes visit to Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop –Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park(Thursday Closed), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Thursday Closed), Peace Pagoda – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight in Darjeeling.

DAY 09: DEPARTURE

Post breakfast check-out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) approximately 69 kilometres, a 2½ -3 hours’ drive for your onward journey with memories of the exceptionally good vacation.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel your Holiday

You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

Cancellation charges per person:

• 30 days or more before departure: 25% of total cost.
• 29 – 20 days before departure: 50% of total cost.
• Less than 19 days before departure: 100% of total cost.
• Cancellation charges also depends on the Season and hotel/Flight Cancellation Charges.
• Rate of exchange (ROE) difference will be collected on the day of final collection of payment, which will depend on the ROE of that particular day.
