Affectionately called ‘paradise on earth,’ Srinagar, nestled in the stunning valleys of Kashmir, is a dream destination for many tourists, some returning, again and again, to lose themselves in the magic of this place. The weather here is pleasant all around the year, and there is no specific best season to visit Srinagar. There are two main seasons – summer and winter, with autumn thrown in between. Srinagar’s location is such that it receives very little rainfall, and doesn’t have a proper monsoon. The best time to visit Srinagar is from April to October when the weather is not too cold and is perfect for sightseeing.

Itinerary:
DAY 1:- ARRIVAL - SRINAGAR
You will be met by our representative at the Srinagar, popularly known as ‘Paradise on Earth’ and 'Venice of the East’, situated in the beautiful valley of Kashmir. Located on the banks of the River Jhelum, the city is renowned for its beautiful lakes, houseboats and numerous Mughal gardens. The word Srinagar is a combination of two Sanskrit words, ‘Sri’ meaning wealth and ‘Nagar’ meaning place. Therefore, the literal meaning of the term 'Srinagar' is 'the city of wealth.
DAY 2:- SRINAGAR –SONMARG -SRINAGAR
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Sonmarg which is situated at a height of 2740 meters, and is at a distance of 82 km which takes about 3 hrs to cover (one way). Relish a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. You can enjoy sightseeing at Thajiwas Glacier or other sightseeing points. Later, return to Srinagar after your excursion. In the evening, enjoy a comfortable overnight night stay at the hotel.
DAY 3:- SONMARG – GULMARG
After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar to Gulmarg. Gulmarg for Day sightSeeing, Local sightseeing of Gulmarg, enjoy pony ride or Gondola ride at your own cost. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and one of the highest golf courses in the world with 18 holes. View of Nanga Parbat if weather permits. Fascinating view from Tangmarg to Gulmarg.
DAY 4:- SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM
This Morning departure for Pahalgam. Also visit Avantipur Ruins, Mattan Temple enrooted. In Pahalgam you will have a rare opportunity to visit the Saffron fields, Relax yourself at the bank of River Ladder.
DAY 5:-PAHALGAM – SRINAGAR – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
After breakfast you will be transferred from Srinagar local sightseeing. where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc, at afternoon Visit famous Mughal gardens (Nishat, Shalimar and Cheshma Shahi) and famous Shankracharya temple.
DAY 6:- DEPARTURE SRINAGAR
Transfer by car to Srinagar with sweet memories of Kashmir.
