A hill-town, 50 kilometres from Darjeeling, and located on the India-Bhutan's western border, Kalimpong is an appealing destination. What makes it rather unique is the unobstructed view of the Kanchenjunga from any point at the hill-station! It also has prolific vegetation spread across verdant lands and exotic orchids bloom here in large numbers. Nestled between the mountain ridge and the roaring Teesta River, this place is quaint, serene and a postcard-perfect tourist spot. Kalimpong was ruled by Tibetans, Bhutanese and the British during different eras, which is evident from its cultural practices. It has interesting monasteries and temples not to mention a unique cuisine. So go ahead and explore this gem of West-Bengal.

Essentials:
Basic personal items to be carried include, feather jacket & heavy woolens during winter and light woolens during summer, walking boots, rain proof jacket during monsoon, torch, spare batteries, water flask, cold cream, personal medicines & Sunglasses.
Advice guest to bring heavy woolens if travelling to Lachung/North Sikkim as this are throughout the year.
Nathula:
Nathula visit is subject to availability of permit & road condition. Only limited permits are issued by the army before 48 hrs of tour. It is open only on Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun. NAME, ADDRESS, AGE & GENDER of all guests travelling are required for processing of permit. Normally organizing permit at the eleventh hour is not possible, minimum time required is 72 hours before the arrival. We will try our best, but in case of non-availability of permit, the tour will only be till Baba Mandir.. It is mandatory that guest should carry photo proof identity card such as voter ID card / passport and passport size photograph.
NOTE:
Permit require for Tsomgo Lake. It is mandatory that guest should carry 02 copies of pass – port size photograph, original ID proof will be required for processing the permit.
Child above 5 yrs are chargeable.
Itinerary:
Day 1 Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (75 kms / 3 hrs)
Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport & transfer to Darjeeling (6,950 ft.). On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 02: Darjeeling Sightseeing – Gangtok (100 kms / 4 hrs)
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) drive to Tiger hill (8,400 ft.) to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 ft. Worlds 3rd highest peak), on your way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre (Sunday closed), Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway. Then proceeds to picturesque drive to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On arrival Check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 03: Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 04: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir + Nathulla Pass
After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
(In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.)
Day 05: Gangtok – Lachung (103 kms / 6 hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel with limited luggage and proceed to Lachung (8,700 ft.), North Sikkim. On the way take a break for some beautiful spots which are worth seeing and visiting like Naga Waterfall, The Confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. On arrival at Lachung check into your hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at Lachung

Day 06: Lachung – Yumthang Valley Excursion - Zero Point – Gangtok
Early Morning drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft. Known as Valley of Flowers). On the way back, visit Hot Spring considered to have medicinal properties. Back to resort for lunch and transfer to Gangtok (5,500 ft.). On the way if the weather is clear you may get to see Mighty Khangchendzonga from Singhik view point. On arrival at Gangtok check-in to your hotel. Rest of the evening free for your own activities. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 07: Gangtok – Pelling (150 kms / 5 hrs) via Chardham
After breakfast start for Pelling (6,300 ft.). Enroute visit Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham) in Namchi. On arrival check-in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 08: Pelling Sightseeing
After breakfast start for full day sightseeing. 1st Half tour - Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake & Khangchendzongha waterfalls. In afternoon start for 2nd Half tour - Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Overnight stay at Pelling.
Day 09: Pelling – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (136 kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast Check-out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journe

2. 30 days before date of departure date: 50% of total cost.
3. 20 days or less before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
4. Important: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel your Holiday
You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:
Cancellation charges per person:
· 30 days or more before departure: 25% of total cost.
· 29 – 20 days before departure: 50% of total cost.
· Less than 19 days before departure: 100% of total cost.
· Cancellation charges also depends on the Season and hotel/Flight Cancellation Charges.
· Rate of exchange (ROE) difference will be collected on the day of final collection of payment, which will depend on the ROE of that particular day.
